South Asian Student Association

Bridges of Norman’s mission is “to empower high school students in family crises to pursue education without obstacles.” Some of the things the organization tries to help with are food, clothing, shelter, and healthcare needs. Moreover, the organization helps students receive counseling in life skills. Unfortunately, there is no other program in the area that provides similar resources. This organization partners with Norman Public School, the Norman Housing Authority, and the United Way of Norman to help fund its resources. Along with these community businesses, they rely on individuals for support.
